Using Comic Books to Illustrate Political News
Great strides were made in the course of the 19th century and again within the later part of the 20th century. At first, it was only White Anglo Saxon Protestant (WASPS) male freeholders who could vote. Over time voting booths and elected offices individuals young democracy were opened to Jews and Catholics, Blacks and Women.
